CATHOLIC CHURCH
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” ~ St. Francis of Assisi
FOR IT IS IN GIVING THAT WE RECEIVE
Guided by the words of our patron saint St. Francis of Assisi, we are a welcoming community formed around the Eucharist and open to the workings of the Holy Spirit. We are called to be a people of prayer, serving our faith through the principle of Christian stewardship.
Join us for Mass and other community events.
St. Francis of Assisi Parish is the hub of the Catholic community in Nixa, Missouri. Whether you are new to the area or just looking for “your” parish, you’ve come to the right place. We look forward to celebrating Mass with you and meeting you afterward during coffee and donuts!
Through your generosity of TIME and TALENT, we fulfill the lay ministries during the Mass, take care of our community, and maintain our facilities.
Perhaps you’re not familiar with Catholicism and just have questions. Or you may have been Catholic all your life and feel that you need to refresh basic knowledge of Catholic practices and traditions. Regardless of your motivation, the RCIA process just might be your answer.

During our 19-year history, we have continued to grow in faith and love and most notably in the number of parish members.
While our facilities have served us well, the dynamic needs of a growing parish require us to take the next step in the development of our parish campus.
Our response to this challenge was to develop a Building Committee, who began the task of
providing a better learning environment for faith formation programs. After countless discussions
and meetings with building contractors and our former architects, a faith formation building was
designed that would serve our parish for many years to come.
